School Supplies for the Philippines

Twenty-four years ago, a tropical cyclone devastated large parts of the Philippines.  Thousands of homes and businesses were destroyed. In response, First Pres volunteers travelled to the Philippines to build homes, a dental clinic, improve schools and prisons, and create lasting friendships with many Filipinos.  Still today, First Pres supports our friends in the Philippines with donations of children’s books and school supplies.  You can join this international mission project by packing books and supplies for shipment to Filipino schools on June 23 and 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 8563 Spencer Rd, South Lyon, MI.  Contact Ginny Rezmierski for more details, ver@umich.edu or 734 355-9198.
