Nativity Service: Gifts for Baby Jesus

All children are invited to participate in our “Come One, Come All'' Christmas Nativity Service for children ages 3 and older. Children who are comfortable reading are encouraged to sign up as scripture readers. There are also non-speaking parts for a multitude of children: Star Bearers, Angels, Shepherds and Magi.

 

Attendees are encouraged to bring "Gifts to Baby Jesus". The Shelter Association is suggesting the following immediately needed items:

  • Winter gloves
  • Wool/acrylic socks (not cotton)
  • New unisex sweatpants and sweatshirts-(all sizes including 3X)
  • New undergarments (see Amazon Wishlist)
  • New white T-shirts
  • Chapstick
  • Lotions
  • Hand & Foot Warmers
  • Bus Tokens and Passes
  • Travel Sized Toiletries
  • Other: Amazon Wishlist

All children are also invited to join the choir that will sing on December 19.  Shyla Powell leads our children's choir in rehearsal every Sunday from 10:30 to 10:55 am.  Children are encouraged and welcomes to participate even if they didn't start with the choir in September.
