Mature Singles offers Christian Fellowship in a group where singles of all backgrounds are accepted and affirmed. It provides an opportunity for participants to grow spiritually and personally through worship, education, service, outreach, and recreational activities, and to socialize in a positive setting. Sunday morning gatherings include a lecture and discussion. Friday dinners are weekly and the schedule is available through the group contact. The age of most participants is 55 and up. Mature Singles meet most Sundays during the year at 11:00 a.m. in the church for fellowship and discussion.

• May 6 - Laura Berg will play the next DVD in the Teaching Company's series on the Old Testament, titled "Samuel and Saul."
• May 13 - Mature Singles will meet for a potluck and planning meeting.
• May 20 - Singles will share experiences about their recent travels.
• May 27 - Singles will meet for conversation.
• June 3 - We'll begin a new series on religious leaders and heroes of our times.  Today we'll learn about Terry Waite, British hostage negotiator and humanitarian.
• June 10 - Singles will meet for conversation.
• June 17 - We'll view the DVD, "Beyond our Differences".  This film "...features interviews with religious leaders and politicians as they are asked what inspires them in these challenging times, as more and more people are turning to religion and spirituality to gain a sense of meaning and understanding with what they are facing."
• June 24 - We'll continue our series on religious leaders and heroes to learn about South African Human Rights Activist, Desmond Tutu.
• Wednesday, July 4: Fourth of July Picnic - at Marcy's at 1 PM, plan to start eating at 1:30.  Please bring a dish to pass.  Please RSVP to Marcy, 995-2519.
