Need Care?

Pastoral Care BrochurePastoral Care: Compassion and Care

From birth to resurrection, we care compassionately for all and nourish a culture of caring.  Knowing there is a broken heart in every pew, we bear one another’s burdens together.  Devoted to extending spiritual care and dedicated to helping with the tangible needs of our members and friends, we offer a loving heart, a listening ear, an open hand, and a generous spirit.  At First Pres, we seek to build a “culture of caring and compassion” for all ages.

If there is something we can to so support you that is not listed below, please contact Rev. Melissa Anne Rogers, Associate Pastor for Pastoral Care and Congregational Life, at mrogers@firstpresbyterian.org, or (734) 662-4466, ext. 390.

Need a Visit?

We have 8 pastors and several retired clergy who visit the hospitals and rehab centers when our members and friends would like a visit.  We also have 25 Stephen Ministers and 55 Deacons who make occasional visits to homes, life-care residential locations, hospitals, hospices, and rehab centers.  Contact us to request a visit and let us know we can be praying for you.
