Join us Sunday, October 15 at 4:00 p.m. here at First Presbyterian Church for a relaxed operatic experience as we explore two great warhorses of opera, Verdi’s Rigoletto and Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro. Artists from Michigan Opera Theatre will give live performances of operatic hits that showcase these works, highlighting the 2017–18 Michigan Opera Theatre season. Musicologist Austin Stewart hosts, offering context and intriguing insights into these timeless operas. An opportunity to meet the artists will follow. There is no admission charge.
