Congregational Life and Mature Ministries invites all to: "On the Road" as we Head to Meijer Gardens—with Family! Circle Thursday, August 22, on your calendar for a different sort of adventure. Mature Ministries announces an intergenerational outing to Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids. Bring yourself and bring your family, too, if you’d like! Your day will start with a 45 minute narrated tram ride around the gardens, giving everyone an overview of what’s to be discovered. But we’ve left the day open other than that so that everyone can enjoy exploration on their own—walking the gardens, taking in the gallery exhibits, enjoying the butterfly garden, etc. Lunch on your own in the Garden Café at 12:30with our group or bring a picnic lunch to eat on your own schedule. Families welcome—and encouraged—or just come to enjoy the day with your friends.

Thursday, August 22: Bus leaves First Pres at 8:00 a.m; returns at 5:00 p.m. Cost: $25.00 for adults; $10.00 for children under 18 yrs. Includes transportation by bus, park admission, and tram ride. Lunch on your own. Payment is required by Thursday, August 8 to complete your reservation. Cancellations before August 8 will receive a 50% refund. Please note: your spot is not reserved without full payment by August 8.
