Fifth Graders Look Ahead to MIDS

All Church School fifth grade students and their families are invited to gather at 10:30 a.m.

"Souper Bowl of Caring"

The MIDS are sponsoring a food collection for the hungry on Super Bowl Sunday.  Bags of dry food goods, as soups, cereals, or peanut butter, may be left under the Youth Bulletin Board outside the Social Hall.  All food collected will be donated to the food pantry at St. Clare's Episcopal Church/Temple Beth Emeth.

MIDS splash and slide

Come to the MIDS Splash Universe on Friday, January 22. Enjoy the waterslides, lazy river and more. Bring your own towel. Sign up with RJ. We will meet at First Pres at 4:00 p.m. Friday and return by 10:00 p.m. Join RJ, Grace, and more for this great evening of waterslide joy! You will need a new Consent Release, a water park release, and $16 by Sunday, January 17 to register.

MIDS Christmas Party

The MIDS Christmas Pary is Wednesday, December 9, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Retzer home, 2765 Hawks Avenue. Bring a wrapped gift, spending exactly $5.55.  RSVP to Debby Retzer at 971-4103. Weekly MIDS will return January 6.

MIDS go for Whirlyball and pizza

Sign up by November 9 for Whirlyball with Northville and our Camp Westminster friends followed by a pizza dinner. The event is Friday, November 13, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. The cost is $15, and signup is required. Call or email RJ if you have questions, 734-662-4466, ext.20.

Youth to lead worship service on March 22

On Sunday, March 22, at the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship services in the Sanctuary, the high school Sunday School class will lead worship. Messages will be shared by active juniors and seniors. Youth choirs will sing and MIDS will usher. The congregation (even non-parents!) have come to look on this as one of the highlights of the year. Please join us.

Don't miss the MIDS Food Challenge, November 12!

At Wednesday 2:42 on November 12 bring some food or toiletries to donate to Food Gatherers. Choose to "Support the Boys" or "Support the Girls" by placing your donations in separate bins. Food will be collected and counted. At the end of dinner, a winner will be declared for the grand pize of bragging rights, applause, and treasure in Heaven.
