First Pres and Food Gatherers joined together to collect all the unsold food after each UM football game this fall.  The total amount of food rescued for distribution within Washtenaw County was:

There are boxes near the office and the Welcome Center for donations of canned meats, fruits, and vegetables; cereals; and dried fruits which will be delivered to Westminster Presbyterian Church in Detroit for distribution on November 17. If you prefer to give money for food supplies, please make out your check to First Presbyterian, write "PWPD Hunger Program" on the memo line, and leave it in the Finance office or put it in the collection plate.
