The Reverend Professor Peter J. Gomes, an American Baptist minister who has served in The Memorial Church, Harvard University, since 1970, and since 1974 as Plummer Professor of Christian Morals and Pusey Minister in The Memorial Church will preach on May 17 at the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services. Professor Gomes has preached and lectured throughout America and the British Isles, and published several best-selling books on reading the Bible and biblical wisdom for daily life.
