The annual Swim and Pizza Party will be held on Saturday, March 13, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Whitmore Lake High School swimming pool.

Are you a high school or college student who is looking for volunteer opportunities to help our members in need? Are you a member with some jobs to be done around the house? Helping Hands may be able to pair you up! Email the Rev. Melissa Anne Rogers to let us know of your need, or of your availability and what you may be interested in doing (yard work, baby sitting, etc.) We’ll do our best to pair you up!

There are still seats available on the bus for the Youth Trip to Cedar Point on Monday, May 25, but you’ll have to purchase your own ticket at the gate. The cost is $40 per person and a signed consent release form is required. We will meet at the church at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, and the bus will leave at 7:15 a.m. We will return at 9:00 p.m. If you are interested and have not yet signed up, email or call Rev. On Sunday, March 22, at the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship services in the Sanctuary, the high school Sunday School class will lead worship. Messages will be shared by active juniors and seniors. Youth choirs will sing and MIDS will usher. The congregation (even non-parents!) have come to look on this as one of the highlights of the year. Please join us.

Members of the Confirmation Class are getting ready for the Confirmation Retreat to be held January 16-18.  Meet at the church at 4:00 p.m. to travel to Skyline Camp and Conference Center in Almont, Michigan. Each student needs to prepare by having read the book, The Case for Christ.  On the retreat we'll struggle with the question, "Is Jesus Lord?" and what that means to you.  Also, we'll enjoy sledding, fun games, and great learning.  The group will return to church by noon on Sunday.  The cost is $90 per person. Sign up ASAP!

Want to go Christmas shopping? Or out to dinner? Drop your children off with our Keystones high schoolers for a morning or evening of group childcare. Donations will support the Costa Rica Mission Trip. Childcare will be available Saturday, December 13, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. or Wednesday, December 17, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., in rooms 203, 204, and the Youth Room. Two adults will oversee care each day. RSVP to Rev. Jim Monnett at 662-4466, ext. 20 wth the number and age of children, so we can be well prepared!
