Prayer Service, help with Haiti earthquake relief

HELP WITH Haiti EARTHQUAKE RELIEF: In response to the devastating earthquake experienced by the people of Haiti, a future relief effort trip is being planned and relief supplies will eventually be gathered. If you would like to donate money to the relief effort right now, checks can be made to First Presbyterian Church, with “Haiti Earthquake Relief” written in the memo line, and can be put in the offering plate or left in the Finance Office. Those donations will go directly to disaster relief in Haiti. Those interested in specific relief efforts or in traveling to Haiti can contact Deb Hutton, chair of the Haiti Mission Task Force ( 216-598-5140 or debghutton@aol.com).

PRAYER SERVICE FOR HAITI TONIGHT: An informal prayer service for the people of Haiti will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Monteith Hall tonight (Thursday, January 14) at 7:00 p.m. (note room change from earlier information). All are welcome to join us in prayer.

You are also invited to attend the next meeting of the Haiti Mission Task Force on Tuesday, February 2, at 5:30 p.m. in the Curtis Room. Everyone is welcome, including those with no medical experience or knowledge, and those who do not want to travel but would like to support our mission in Haiti.
