This month we welcome Sue Smith, the Vice-President of the League of Women Voters of Michigan.

In November, there will be two state proposals on the ballot: one would allow stem cell research and the other would allow the use of marijuana for medical purposes. We'll examine those two issues and the pro and con statements collected by the League. We'll also get a preview of the series of debates on a number of local races that the League will be sponsoring. These debates will be broadcast live on October 13 and 14 over CTN and rebroadcast many times until the election. Sue will also have information on ID requirements and on absentee voting.
