On Sunday, August 2, First Presbyterian's Session (governing body) acted on a motion of the Personnel Committee to present a candidate to be interim pastor, pending the completion of all requirements for hiring as set forth by the Presbytery of Detroit. Session is pleased to introduce the Reverend Lawrence W. Farris - a pastor, preacher, teacher, spiritual director, and writer - as our new Interim Pastor. Rev.
