Health and Wellness Series at 11:00

During the month of May, Adult Education will feature a series of classes on Health and Wellness Education. The series is sponsored by the Parish Nurse and the Pastoral Care program. The classes will meet at 11:00 a.m. in the Lewis Room.
The four classes are:
May 2: Chronic Pain, presented by Dr. Edward Washabaugh, a pain specialist and church member
May 9: What Do You Need To Do When a Loved One Goes to the Hospital: Being an Advocate, presented by Mary Stevens, LMSW, Elder Care Manager
May 16: The Diabetes Epidemic ... How To Stay Healthy, presented by Pat Farris, R.N., Certified Diabetes Educator and church member
May 23: Alzheimers Disease and Chronic Dementias, presented by the Alzheimers Association - Michigan Great Lakes Chapter
