Wednesday 2:42,our midweek program, based on Acts 2:42, concludes the fall semester on November 18. At dinner that day, we will look at Isaiah 9:2-7 and 11:1-9, “The People Who Walked in Darkness Have Seen a Great Light.” After dinner, join us for a Thanksgiving Service of Gratitude, at 7:00 p.m., in the Sanctuary. The service will include the Sacrament of Holy Communion, a Bread Exchange (bring a gift of homemade bread, rolls, or whatever you can find). Two lay speakers, Pat Liljestrand and Evonne Plantinga, will give meditations on gratitude. Join us for this time to worship God of the harvest, and to realize the gift of God’s generosity in all our lives.
