Nominations for church offices are welcome at any time. However, The Nominating Committee does the bulk of its work between March 1st and June 1st. Nominations are actively sought from March first through April 15th.

All church officers must be active members for at least one year prior to election, which occurs in October with all terms beginning in January. Terms of office are for three years for elders and deacons, and one year for the church nominating committee. Consecutive terms are generally not permitted, but officers are eligible for re-election one year after completion of a term. Officer training is provided between October and December.
