On Sunday afternoon, December 13, at 4:00 p.m., our Chancel Choir will be joined by tenor John Pierce and orchestra to present Benjamin Britten's Saint Nicolas, a lovely small cantata about the story of Nicolas, Bishop of Myra, born in third century Turkey. Following the cantata, singers from the Delonis Center will join us for a carol medley. All proceeds from the freewell offering that will be taken at the concert will go to the Delonis Center, which provides temporary shelter and support services for the homeless. A reception will follow in the Social Hall.
