At First Presbyterian we have an outstanding pair of archivists who work diligently to help us maintain the chronicle of the church's life and history. Larry and Pearl Summers have invested more than 10,000 volunteer hours in the hard work of archiving the active life of this congregation. On July 18, at the coffee hour, we will celebrate their work. Then stay and tour the archives, located on the first floor of the church. Larry and Pearl also recently celebrated 50 years of marriage, and are both celebrating their 80th birthdays this summer. They are eager to share the work of this rather hidden but critical ministry with new volunteers who have interest and expertise.
