Adapted Exercise Class begins February 26

The Parish Nurse/Pastoral Care programs and The Ann Arbor Parkinson Support Group are excited to offer a new exercise program for persons with movement disorders (Parkinson's disease, tremor disorders, strokes, etc.). This 8-week program will begin on Thursday, February 26, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Curtis Room at First Presbyterian. Registration will begin at 2:30 p.m.

Classes will be led by a physical therapist experienced in adapted exercise programs. Tuition for the 8-week class series is $24 or $4 per class as a drop-in. Please bring payment to the first class. Checks are payable to Jim Wheaton with Ann Arbor Adapted Exercise Program or A3XP on the memo line. Caregivers are welcome without charge and scholarships are available. The initial focus of this fun class will be on re-strengthening muscles needed to maintain balance and flexibility by using familiar activities.
