New "Memorial Planning Guide" presented

First Pres members and friends are welcome to attend the Stephen Ministry continuing education offering on Monday, February 8, which will introduce First Presbyterian's new Memorial Planning Guide. Rev. Melissa Anne Rogers will be the presenter. The presentation will be in the Youth Room from 7:00 to 7:45 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Serving families with special needs

“Serving families with special needs,” a presentation by Julie Frick, LMSW, is the last offering in the Stephen Ministry Continuing Education series until fall. On Monday, June 29, the congregation is invited to attend the presentation from 7:05 to 7:45 p.m. in the Youth Room.

Stephen Ministry class on anxiety and borderline disorders

On Monday, May 18, Gordon Prepsky, a psychotherapist with Samaritan counseling Service, will speak on Anxiety and Borderline Disorders.  The class will meet in the Youth Room from 7:05 to 7:45 and is open to members of the congregation.

How to move from conflict to collaboration

Mary F. Whiteside, Ph.D., of the Ann Arbor Center for the Family and Sally Rutzky, J.D., with Dodge and Woloshin, will give a presentation on moving from conflict to collaboration, to the Stephen Ministry Continuing Education Series. It will be held on Monday, May 4, from 7:05 to 7:45 p.m. in the Youth Room. The congregation is invited to attend.
