Health and Wellness Series at 11:00

During the month of May, Adult Education will feature a series of classes on Health and Wellness Education. The series is sponsored by the Parish Nurse and the Pastoral Care program.

Health and Wellness Education Series

Please join us for our annual Health and Wellness Education Series, sponsored by our Parish Nurse and Pastoral Care programs. There will be four classes, running from April 26 through May 17. The classes are part of the Adult Education program and will meeet at 11:00 a.m. Sunday mornings in the Lewis Room. Adapted Exercise Class begins February 26

The Parish Nurse/Pastoral Care programs and The Ann Arbor Parkinson Support Group are excited to offer a new exercise program for persons with movement disorders (Parkinson's disease, tremor disorders, strokes, etc.). This 8-week program will begin on Thursday, February 26, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Curtis Room at First Presbyterian. Registration will begin at 2:30 p.m.

Blood Pressure Screenings at First Pres

The parish nurse and First Presbyterian nurses will be offering blood pressure screenings onSundays in October:

October 5, October 12, October 19 and October 26 from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
in the campus intern office by the French Room.

FLU SEASON IS COMING : BE PREPARED!

Avoid the miserable symptoms, lost work or school days and potential serious health risks of influenza with a Flu shot this year.

Flu and Pneumonia vaccinations will be given at First Presbyterian Church on Monday, October 6, 2008, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Founders and Curtis Rooms.  Sign up in the church office (662-4466).
