Extraordinary Worship

Extraordinary Thanksgiving Worship at 2:42

A service for wholeness and healing

On October 21, in conjunction with Wednesday 2:42, there will be an Extraordinary Worship service, this time a Service of Wholeness and Healing. Gather for worship, communion, prayers for healing and anointing with oil, and meditative music and reflection. The service will be held in the Sanctuary at 7:00 p.m. For more information, contact the Rev. Melissa Anne Rogers, Director of Pastoral Care, by email or by phoning 662-4466, ext. 12.

Extraordinary worship: a Lenten service of wholeness and healing

On March 18, the Extraordinary Worship Service that follows the Wednesday 2:42 dinner will be a "Service of Wholeness and Healing." In this time together we'll seek the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to meet whatever needs we bring. In prayers of thanksgiving and intercession, through the Sacrament of Communion, and in small groups, we'll give thanks that God provides for us. This is a unique worship opportunity to know the powerful presence of the Lord, and the healing that only Jesus can provide. Join us at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary for this meaningful and meditative service.

Wednesday 2:42 - Extraordinary Worship

Join us on November 19 for Extraordinary Worship in Monteith Hall! This special time together will include stories of faith and gratitude, just in time for Thanksgiving, and a bread exchange. Three members of our church, Elizabeth Davis, Don Faber, and Tom Trevethan, will share a few reflections with us on what "gratitude" means to them. We'll also celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion with a bread exchange. To participate, simply bring bread (home-made or store-bought, rolls, a loaf, or something more creative), in a closed or zip-lock plastic bag.
