On Saturday, May 22, our confirmation class will attend their Confirmation Banquet, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Social Hall. The class will join the church at the 9:30 a.m.

A Confirmation information meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 22, at 7:00 p.m. for all eighth grade students interested in confirmation and their parents. The Confirmation Retreat will be October 9-11.  Questions?  Contact Rev. Jim Monnett at jmonnett@firstpresbyterian.org.

On May 17 at the 11:00 a.m. service sixteen confirmands will be received into membership. This is the culmination of several months of classes, worship, a retreat, reading, and writing an essay.  The confirmation banquet will be held the evening before at 6:00 p.m., after which they will meet with the session.  Congratulations to the confirmands, and Welcome!

Members of the Confirmation Class are getting ready for the Confirmation Retreat to be held January 16-18.  Meet at the church at 4:00 p.m. to travel to Skyline Camp and Conference Center in Almont, Michigan. Each student needs to prepare by having read the book, The Case for Christ.  On the retreat we'll struggle with the question, "Is Jesus Lord?" and what that means to you.  Also, we'll enjoy sledding, fun games, and great learning.  The group will return to church by noon on Sunday.  The cost is $90 per person.
